IKSDP Nyandiwa

The Harambee Project was started in 1983 in Nyandiwa village, on the shore of Lake Victoria (Suba District - Kenya), and still is going on. During these years, the Brownsea Foundation in partnership with the Kenya Scout Association, the World Scout Bureau-Africa and local population, has realized many projects and provided a lot of services. The NYANDIWA INTERNATIONAL SCOUT CENTRE - IKSDP (Italian Kenyan Scout Development Project), which is managed by a local team, is the propellant power of all these initiatives.

Kenya National Drama Festival 2012

IKSDP - Nyandiwa Teachers Training College

Qualified from Nyanza Colleges drama festivals held at Migori T.T.C.

They performed at the Kenya National Drama Festivals in Western Province – Kakamega where the troupe won trophies awards.

Choral Verse - Luo Indegineous Language was the best item in Indegineous Language
Narrative – Position 2 Overall and won a Trophy

Best item in youth Education-won a trophy
Best item on Drug Abuse

IKSDP-YOUTH TOURNAMENT WAS SUCCESSFUL

I dearly take this opportunity to thank the Harambee project for giving us full support to ensure that the organized tournament was success.

This has proven that it is now beyond experimentation and i do hope next time if organized again it will still prosper. i do say this because through my determination together with my dear friend AYUKA MBAYA whom we have been working with to ensure that it is achieved successful.
